4. Service Overview
Sonar provides software that helps businesses manage their employees more effectively. Managing users can sign up, create accounts, and view data about their employees. Employees’ profiles are created by managing users, and Sonar collects specific information to facilitate this process.
5. User Obligations
Managing users are responsible for creating employee profiles and ensuring that all data provided is accurate. Retaliation against employees based on their answers in Sonar is strictly prohibited.
Managing users must ensure that they comply with all relevant employment and privacy laws.
6. Account Creation and Information Collection
To use Sonar, managing users must create an account. We collect the following personal information:
•Managing Users: Name, email, position within the company, address, department within the company, and phone number.
•Employees: Name, email, birthday, hire date, headshot picture, ethnicity, and gender.
7. Payments and Subscriptions
Sonar operates on a subscription basis. By subscribing to Sonar, you agree to pay all applicable fees as outlined at the time of sign-up. Late or failed payments may result in account suspension. Sonar does not offer refunds for any reason.
8. Account Suspension and Termination
Sonar reserves the right to terminate or suspend accounts under the following circumstances:
• Failure to pay subscription fees
• Inappropriate use of employee information by managing users, including but not limited to retaliation against employees
• At Sonar’s discretion, for any reason
9. Privacy and Data Protection
Sonar is committed to maintaining the privacy and security of your data. Our database is SOC 2 Type II and GDPR compliant. Sonar may use third-party services for data processing, analytics, and advertising.
In the event of unauthorized access or data leakage, Sonar will revoke access to the unauthorized party and work to remove leaked data from distribution.
10. Intellectual Property
All logos, trademarks, slogans, and any likeness of Sonar LLC are the property of Sonar LLC. Unauthorized use of Sonar’s intellectual property without written consent is prohibited.
11. User Rights to Data
Users have the right to the data they provide through the Sonar platform. To request deletion of data, users can contact us at info@sonarhr.io.
12. Limitations of Liability
Sonar LLC is not liable for any damages or lawsuits arising from the use of its services. In the event of a lawsuit against Sonar LLC, the suing party agrees to cover all legal fees incurred by Sonar LLC.
13. Modifications to Terms of Service
Sonar reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be communicated to users via email.
14. Service Discontinuation
Users may cancel their subscription and discontinue use of Sonar at any time by accessing the billing portal.
